Effective Friday, October 3, 2003, with approval of the U.S. Bankruptcy
Court for the District of Maryland, the company name changed to
National Energy & Gas Transmission, Inc. (NEGT). This change
reflects the company's pending separation from its parent, PG&E
Corporation.
The company's subsidiaries also have changed their names including
the newly named Gas Transmission Northwest Corporation. USGen New
England, Inc. did not change its name.
It is important to note that while this is now in effect, NEGT
will not become legally separated from PG&E Corporation until
NEGT's Plan of Reorganization is effective.
Please note that the company's new websites are www.negt.com,
www.gastransmissionnw.com and www.northbajapipeline.com.
Gas Transmission Northwest Corporation is a subsidiary of National
Energy & Gas Transmission, Inc. The pipeline system located in the
Pacific Northwest is one of the most strategically positioned pipeline
assets in the Western region.
