The following is an update to the Short-Term Operational Plan for the pipe maintenance on the NPS 36 Foothills BC Mainline.

 

Effective November 17 at 08:00 MST, the receipts onto the BC system at the Alberta BC border will be reduced to 54.5 E6m3/d. The typical demand at the Alberta BC border has ranged from 30 to 62 E6m3/d in recent weeks. NGTL FT service levels as of November 1 are 76.1 E6m3/d (2702 mmcf/d) at ALTBC Border.

 

The reduction in capability is required to perform a pipe replacement on a section of pipe that was recently inspected as part of TransCanada's pipeline integrity program.

 

The above outage is anticipated to be completed on November 20 at 17:00 MST, but may take longer due to factors such as the weather and the challenging location.
