In accordance with Section 18.1(b) of its FERC Gas Tariff, Third Revised Volume 1-A, TransCanada’s GTN System (GTN) will begin an open bidding process on March 8, 2005 for seasonal (May 1 - Oct 31) long-term firm capacity that has been sold on a pre-arranged basis. In order to acquire this capacity, a competing shipper must submit a qualifying bid that has a greater net present value than that provided by the pre-arranged shipper, per Section 18.1(e) of GTN's FERC Gas Tariff.
