The following is an update to the Short-Term Operational Plan for the maintenance on the NPS 36 Foothills BC Mainline.
Work has progressed well through the summer and is nearing completion on the above section of pipe. The majority of the line is expected to be returned to service by the end of September. The Alberta/BC (ALTBC) border receipt capability at that time will increase to 82.0 E6m3/d (2895 MMcf/d) assuming all facilities available. Firm service levels (including contract levels and fuel requirements) at the ALTBC border are shown below.
