Duke Energy Marketing Notice of Permanent Capacity Release

Duke Energy Marketing America, LLC and Duke Energy Trading and Marketing, L.L.C. (collectively, the “Releasing Shipper”) are offering Gas Transmission Northwest Corporation (“GTN”) Contract Nos. 00159, 00161, 10000, and 05266 for permanent release, effective April 1, 2006, under the terms and conditions described in the attached posting (“CenterPoint Portfolio Release Posting”).

 

  In accordance with the formal waivers secured from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”) in “Order on Waivers,” Duke Energy Marketing America, L.L.C. , 114 FERC ¶ 61,198 (February 24, 2006) , there will be no bidding for this contract on the GTN Internet website. Instead, Contract Nos. 00159, 00161, 10000, and 05266 are being offered for permanent release as part of an indivisible portfolio of various transportation contracts with a number of FERC-regulated and Canadian pipelines that will be posted for competitive bid on the Internet website of CenterPoint Energy Gas Transmission Company (“CEGT website”). The Open Season for this capacity release offer will last ten (10) calendar days, beginning at 1:00 p.m. (CCT) on March 3, 2006 and terminating at 1:00 p.m. (CCT) on March 13, 2006.

 

Prior to bidding on the CEGT Internet website, each interested party must first establish creditworthiness under the terms of GTN's tariff, and provide evidence of creditworthiness to CEGT by telefaxing an executed copy of the following Credit Verification Form to the attention of John Fogg or Kathy Kennedy at 713.207.9628 and to YJ Bourgeois at 713.386.3206.
