The BC System invoices
that were issued on Friday December 9 contained an error in the
GST calculation. As you are aware, we implemented a change to
the GST exemption process effective November 1, 2005. Customers
are now required to sign a GST declaration in order to be zero
rated. System changes to the BC billing system to handle this
change did not correctly capture customers' declarations. The
result was incorrect GST charges on many of the invoices.
We are working to rectify
the system and will be generating corrected invoices as quickly
as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
