On June 28, 2004, Gas Transmission Northwest filed to remove the Gas Research Institute (GRI) surcharge following notification by GRI that effective August 1, 2004, GTN should discontinue collecting the GRI surcharge.  By letter order dated July 28, 2004, GTN received approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to discontinue the collection of the GRI surcharge effective August 1, 2004.
