Effective
with the changes to GTN's rates that will come into effect on
January 1, 2007, GTN will implement a new discounting policy regarding
the use of parking and lending services, as well as Interruptible
Transportation Service.
Parking
and Lending Services:
The
recourse rate for both PS-1 (parking) and AIS-1 (lending) services
will increase to $0.353377 per Dth/day. Discounts from this rate
may be negotiated by shippers with their account representatives.
Features
of the new discount policy will include:
- Pricing will be on a
term basis and each negotiated discount will have finite start
and end dates
- At the end of each discount
term the price for the discounted service will revert to the
recourse rate, unless a different price has been negotiated
for a subsequent term
- Credit will be required
based upon the terms of the service offering and the negotiated
rate
Shippers
who wish to utilize these services are encouraged to contact their
account representative to discuss obtaining service at a discounted
rate.
Please
note that Parking and Lending balances that remain on the system
after December 31, 2006, regardless of the intial park/lend
date, will be billed at the new recourse rate unless otherwise
negotiated with the shipper's marketing account representative.
Interruptible
Transportation Service:
Effective
January 1, 2007, the recourse rate for ITS-1 (interruptible transportation)
will be two and one-half times the 100% load factor rate for all
paths. GTN will implement a blanket discount for all paths at
the 100% load factor equivalent rate. In addition, further discounts
may apply to some paths, and shippers are encouraged to contact
their account representatives to discuss obaining interruptible
service at a further discounted rate. Interruptible service not
subject to individually negotiated discounts will be assessed
the posted blanket discount rate.
