For gas day August 3, 2006, TransCanada will be performing an inline inspection on the NPS 36 Foothills BC M/L.  Effective at 08:00 MST, the receipt capacity of the BC System at the Alberta/BC border will be reduced to 58.0 10 6 m3/d (2047 MMcf/d).  Recent demand at the Alberta/BC Border has ranged from 60 10 6 m3/d (2118 MMcf/d) to 69 10 6 m3/d (2436 MMcf/d).  The outage is expected to be completed within 24 hours.

The inline inspection is part of TransCanada's ongoing maintenance program, aimed at bringing the currently de-rated pipeline back to is full Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure as soon as possible.
