The following is an
update to the Short-Term Operational Plan for the maintenance
on the NPS 36 Foothills/BC Mainline and the Elko 'C' Compressor
on TransCanada's BC System.
The Alberta/BC border receipt capability
will be increased to 75.5 E6m3/d (2,665 mmcf/d) effective 08:00
MST, December 29th. The capability is expected to remain
at this level through December and part of January as plans are
put in place to perform the required repairs to the NPS 36 Foothills/BC
Mainline.
Current firm service
contract levels for the month of December and January are 69.9
E6m3/d (2,488 mmcf/d) and 69.2 E6m3/d (2,463 mmcf/d) respectively
at the Alberta/BC Border.
Increased capability
is made possible through availability of the Elko 'C' compressor
unit.
