All Shippers:
GTN recently conducted
an in-line inspection of its A-line in sections of Idaho, Washington,
and Oregon. Through review of the inspection information,
GTN has identified three anomalies that warrant further investigation.
As a precautionary safety measure, GTN is reducing the line pressure
for the affected pipeline segments until these investigations
can be completed. Reducing the line pressure in the section
of pipe to be inspected will result in capacity reductions on
the GTN system. Effective start of gas day Saturday,
February 24, 2007, the receipt capability at Kingsgate will be
reduced to 2,775 MMcf/d and the delivery capability through Station
14 will be reduced to 1,850 MMcf/d. The capacity
reductions will remain in effect until repairs to the respective
pipe segments have been completed.
As a normal course of
business, TransCanada-GTN has communicated and coordinated maintenance
planning with the upstream pipeline to mitigate shipper impacts.
If you have any questions, please call GTN's Gas Transportation
Coordinators at (503) 833-4300, option 1.
