TransCanada is in the process of transferring the Gas Dispatch function for Tuscarora Gas Transmission from Calgary to GTN’s Gas Control center in Portland. At this stage of the transition, Calgary continues to have full functional control of Tuscarora in tandem with Portland and will partner with GTN Gas Control as dispatch duties are transferred.   

 

During this initial phase, Calgary Gas Control will provide backup dispatch services until the GTN Contingency Site in Redmond, Oregon, is updated with the SCADA hardware necessary for Tuscarora pipeline control.
